I need to read this in the middle of the day when my brain can operate at full capacity bc when I try to read before going to sleep I process absolutely nothing from this book

Interesting how so many of these theologians argue that homosexuality is a sin because it supposedly isn't found in nature - which is a) not a theological argument, and b) false (we have plenty of evidence of same-sex sexual behavior in various species nowadays, but I guess this wasn't known yet in the medieval period?)

Interesting how Albert the Great pointedly ignores contemporary scientific teachings because it would poke holes in his theological arguments - even when our scientific understandings of many things were WRONG, theologians still ignored them in order to argue their points.
