Hello, Jeanne, we seem to be connecting everywhere today! I'm am so glad you liked the book. I am so glad I have finished writing the book. It took me ten years. Thirty, if you count back to when I first went to Guatemala.

Oh wow. Well it shows. You're attention to detail and the realness of it jumped out at me. You took your time and made it real and that's an important element in a book.

I should be clear that it didn't take me ten years, exclusively. I started it and put it away for many years. I completed a first draft and put that away. And so on. I was also working on other stuff, and working long hours as a freelance editor and part-time librarian. I kind of gave up on it, and then I discovered the writing sites, YOu Write On (British) and TNBW (U.S.) and got such encouraging feedback from readers, I finally had the confidence to finish it.

Oh I understand. I'm doing the same thing with Dark Angel. I started it before Invisible and it's going on three years now of working on it. I'm determined to finish it before I go onto another project or else it'll never get done.

Dark Angel sounds like something I will want to read. So hurry up and finish it! ;)

Lol, I'm doing my best. It's way longer than Invisible and much more complicated. I get lost in my own story sometimes. But when it's done, I'll let you know. :)
