books are (unfortunately) still using Cold Fusion (P&F) as a negative example of science and conclusions from scientists... and it's not. LENR research goes on today. and (even) NASA (wow) has done solid state lattice containment fusion experiments. So, even well reasoning science book authors have holes in their thinking... lets call it bias!

Wow Marino talking to Blackman (at retirement) is amazing philosophy about Truth and Science and advocacy. And why the question about Opinions Matters. There is also something called the Overton Window which deals with opinions of a group and how they change slowly over time. And I view science and law and society the same way as Marino does! Not that Anything can be done with the time base of the system.
