"The Five-Forty-Eight" by Edward Herrmann. A 1950's precursor to Fatal Attraction, although here the woman chooses a higher option.

"The Enormous Radio" read by Meryl Streep... I've never read Cheever and the first of these short stories was certainly a sharp one... looking forward to seeing where these will lead.
