not the basic ass “back to the beginning” plot that’s in EVERY uf novel ever (i still eat it up every time tho..)

ok I lied headless general’s tomb was boring af if I had to read abt them yapping abt buddhism for one more chapter I would have ended it 💀 interstellar arc was good but it didn’t stand out tbh, but I like that Liu Qiao got to play a somewhat bigger role this time! I’m so close to the end FINALLYYYYYY don’t get me wrong card room is good but I rlly wanna go read smth else 😭😭 TOO LONG!!

Death Zone arc was so good!! Rlly made me like the main couple more after Beacon in Troubled Times, but also had cute moments with the side couple. AND THE CONFESSION SCENE OMG MY HEART 😭😭💖💞💗 so worth the 367 chapter wait 🫶🫶 Currently on Headless General’s Tomb, diamonds rooms usually aren’t my fav but this one is actually rlly interesting!!

Why do I like the side couple more than the main couple rn… doomsday escape which focused on the sc was SO good compared to beacon in troubled times… they’re also having more of a slow burn than the mc? For a novel of this length they both figured out their feelings way too quickly. Beacon in troubled times sucked ass but I’ll hold my comments on it for later cuz I can see a way it could be redeemed later.
