the only reason I’m still listening is because I *rarely* dnf, and it’s easy to just let the audiobook play. But WOW, this is horrible. Absolutely horrible. I was genuinely loving this book despite some writing issues I was seeing, but the way charas are handling this conflict is traumatizing.

WHAT. THE. FUCK??

Oh, I was literally writing I disliked that her dad keeps letting this beech get away with HORRIBLE business decisions that are clearly an abuse of power, and then he said Rory would go instead of whatever her name, so it’s okay now. But definitely getting ✨ plot device ✨ all over the place lately. Still a consuming read though! :3
