Written 33 years ago and already I can find what I like about SK's prose. At times I feel helpless about the manipulation as regards the main characters .. I started reading King's books around a decade ago only, Heidi, so there are a lot of them to catch up :)) Besides, I enjoy reading about the dynamics in small American towns :)
It has been a hot second but I remember reading this book 30 years ago and it has been on my mind lately. Maybe time to dust off the old copy.

Beata, it's just the right time. I have a theory that book will find you when it's their time to be read. It's just your time now. I am going to read it again this sumer 😊
