I’m 27% of the way into this book and here are my thoughts. I love a girl in STEM but the amount of I’m just not like other girls is making me want to put the book down. It’s been about three times and it goes on for awhile each time. Also I’m confused at what modeling has to do with dance and cheerleading? And why girls that do those activities can’t be smart?

I took like a 7 month break from this book at the 27% mark and now I’m at the 58% mark and I think I might just give up all together. Main character is a super pick me which admittedly gets a lot better after the 27% mark but the MMC is just so awful I don’t see how anything would make me like or root for him. Romance? More like felony. Rhysand would never which is saying something considering under the mountain.
