Dewi Dja was in Germany during Nazi occupied while Indonesia, her country was struggling to fight for Independent from Dutch colonisation.
Her talent brought her travel around the world at the special time and made her a very special Indonesian traditional dancer.
She met Burma's King and felt in love, one of her dancers troupes was also a Jewish. This lady had a special life.
