Ok friends I’m struggling to get into this book. It is so wordy. I don’t need to know every drop of sweat that falls, every grain of sand she encounters or repetitive thoughts. If I keep going will it get better or should I quit while I’m ahead?

This author really likes details and wordiness, which does make it slow. I think it stays consistent through the book and the characters make it worth reading but if it’s bothering you, I don’t know if you’re going to want to continue.
