This character has no friends in this village? No one to go with her on this poorly designed adventure to the capital, to reign in her wild flights of fancy?

Her dad died and after 2 seconds of a grief montage, we’re in revenge mode right away? This is a different culture at least linger a bit on the death rites? She’s the second oldest of six siblings but they don’t warrant a mention by name? Her village is described in two lines, but we’re already on to the capital and the revenge plot? You’ve put zero effort into making me care about these characters or this world.
