The man writes his butt off. Where does gather the energy to produce such tales?Fairy Tale, thus far, is exactly and perfectly that. A tale spun out like those from childhoods past and further past. It is another room in another part of King's house of extraordinary creations. I would not say, so far, his most chilling, but when the temperature does drop, it requires a heavy sweater. About halfway through...???

I read this twice...not intentionally. But I did finish it again. The second time I found it a tad soppy. But not scary and it was still a good story. About 3/4 of the way through I kept wondering why it seemed so familiar....duh! About to reread "White Teeth" and "A Suitable Boy"; watching them both on Acorn.
