The experiences shared in this book so far have left such emotional yet discomforting feelings on me.
"God forgive you" said to the bandit by Marek right before he kisses the bandits head and licks his lips to taste the sweat from his face.
"God forgive you" the Bandit says back as he meets his fate.
The agony and grief felt as you discover the truth behind Mareks mom and the pain and evil doing brought by men.

I'm almost at the end and at some point throughout reading this, it has struck me that the book points out so much of how society was built against women. It always has been and it continues to do so. It's thrown in there sometimes so subliminally and sometimes so blatantly. The book goes on with perspectives and stories of such pathetic men and throws in the most gut wrenching comments and backgrounds of the women

" 'I haven't bled in so long,' all the women confided, as if it were a secret that a starving body could not live up to the moon."

I love the turns that this book throws at you. We are now onto Summer and it was revealed to us after loss and obsurd tragedy that Marek was never even Judes real son in the first place. That instead Agata was already pregnant before Jude got her. This tragedy somehow became a relief to Jude, which was undeserving. I hope to see Jude rot at some point before the end of this book at least, if not the ending itself.

The Ina lore spoke to me so much. This book shows so much of how beautiful, whimsical, and meaningful women are and shows so much of how cruel, selfish, and disgusting men have always been. Ina has to much beauty to her. Her existence itself feels poetic
