It had such a creative plot and trope. But… I wish there was more angst and emotional build up. It felt like their connection/relationship just happened out of the blue and there wasn’t enough time before to show the reader WHY they loved each other or what they saw in each other… I also felt like Maddox was so whiny sometimes but overall, it was a fun, quick read.
