finished chapter 1 (of 4)! super good!! far too early/late for me to be awake but my caffeine consumption has yet again caught up to me. i have felt on the verge of tears for much of this book so far (listening to the soundtrack from I Saw the TV Glow isnt helping) ; it is so beautifully written and the part about the braille library was so good.

although ive realized its the tragedy of the child (to never be understood), this book is so sad and im only a few pages in. its so good so far and is opening the idea if another facet to the tragedy which is to never understand your parents.
