I’m not a fan of the idea of the Duke getting so mad, that he thought about hitting Daphne. Or the idea that he called her his “property”.
I get that it’s a period piece and this is for “accuracy” but. Eh. Coming from the show to watch this has made me feel blegh about finishing the rest of the book.
