Multiple reasons for just an average rating. One, it's only the POV of the female character. I personally like when I get to read both main characters, & sometimes other character's, POV. I prefer characters that interact more. Another factor I wasn't too thrilled with is that the ending was left to feel like there are more books to be added to this series, NO HEA/A FREAKING CLIFFHANGER!
