I’m still at the beginning and I was commenting about this book to my mother, whose father was a victim to AIDS in the early 90s. It was the first time I saw her curious about something regarding HIV/Aids, the first time I saw her open up a little to say “this (a specific passage about the mortality of those patients that I’ve read her) is exactly what it felt like. How did he put it into words?”
