Meh. I don’t like this.

I’ve read lots of reviews where people mention there might be a “Christian” perspective. I don’t see what they mean. It’s one character’s perceptions, her likes and dislikes, which to me thus far seem almost like a caricature of someone on the “straight and narrow,” though I’ve known people to be like her. I’m not thrilled that an ouija board has been introduced. This book may get donated.

The drawings are peculiar. The main character is someone I have sympathy for at multiple points in the story. This one is an audiobook; I own the physical copy. I’m enjoying reading along with the narrator. They picked a good voice for Mallory Quinn.
