And I mean, the way the Boreali safeguard and hoard the magnifiscense that was given to them by their "High One" is weird and wrong. Maybe it's just because I've never been particularly nationalistic but to me, prosperity is supposed to be shared. Why, when you have so much, would you like to prevent others from partaking in your joy? Even if they're from another land, and it's not even another country atp?

uuuhhhhh, I really hope the author manages to salvage this book before it's end because I feel like it has a lot of potential that's just not being used. It's a relief that I'm starting to like Luscia a little bit more again, but she's too blinded by her faith and it's still annoying me. And I mean, it's so obvious that the author wrote Boreal as "the superior house" and it just rubs me the wrong way.
