i’m amazed that to this day people still excuse years of snape’s abuse of his students just because he had a crush on harry’s mom

WHO let 11 year old me think this was the best harry potter book because i’m 1/3 of the way through and they haven’t even started camping yet!!! the plot gets dragged on for WAY too long

this used to be my favorite harry potter novel but the plotholes are SO distracting and the fact this is just a non-stop war book is a really stark contrast from the rest of the series, even HBP which had its drama filled moments but had some comedy interwoven to make the storyline enjoyable :/
