A nice surprise and joy for BAT CAVE: A FABLE OF EPIDEMIC PROPORTIONS this week, being shortlisted for the The High Plains Book Awards in the Young Adult category! HPBA covers books from authors in 10 states and provinces. The awards ceremony is part of an all-day event Oct 5th with talks, book signings, banquet, and similar. Knocking wood but whether BAT CAVE is selected the winner or not, I am honored!
