One thing I love about this series is that Maria leaves the story, not on a cliff hanger, but as if the next book will add more to the over all big story. This happens to be one series I've never tired of. The characters and situations continue to develop in a natural way. There is just enough conflict, but there is always hope that in the end everything will work out.

This series of books is like one long story, each book is a different chapter. I like series like that.
