Someone want to tell me how Lynn Hagen is still publishing books... with the SAME publisher, no less?

Why? You don't like her work?

Wow. Why is this so rampant lately? Or is it that readers are picking up on it more? Either way...despicable is the right word.
I guess she did take a break from the publishing after it was uncovered, but I just cannot imagine ever giving her another contract. It's disgusting and no one ever owned up to anything. Lynn apparently did over the phone to the author she stole from, but really? Yuck. There are good authors out there trying to publish THEIR work. I just... I got heated when I saw that she had started to publish again.
She can publish if she wants, but it astounds me that the publisher would anticipate anyone wanting to READ it.

I can say that if an author I worked with came out as plagiarizing, I wouldn't be offering them another contract. That's my thing =\
Personally, I won't read anything by an author who has committed plagiarism and I won't read anything from a publisher who appears to condone or abet it. It's one of the worst things authors and publishers can do.
I saw that too and was appalled. But I think the ones that just came out were already under contract because they were supposed to come out last summer. I think they just put them on hold for a while.
