I am loving this book!

Surprisingly good! Set as the memoirs of a 78 year old man about his youth in the era before the Revolution, it follows a young Richard Carvel through the formative events of his life: romantic flings, family intrigue, and the growing tension between patriots and loyalists. It's written vert well, to the point where it is hard to put it down. Dorothy leaving forever actually pulled at the ol' heartstrings.
