Diem is actually unbearable. I truly don't think I've ever hated a MC so much. Does she have any common sense at all? It remains to be seen. I'm really really trying here. Currently struggling to understand how so many people gave it 5⭐️s and said it's the best thing they've ever read 🙃

I'm really grateful I read some of the other reviews. Makes me feel seen that I'm not the only one who kind of (really) hates Diem. She sucks.

Why why WHY did the author make it her life goal to make this FMC as stupid and insufferable as possible? I hate to be so harsh, but I swear I am scrounging around for some FMC development, and so far the only decision she's made in the first 50 pages of this book is so outlandish and dumb I just...ugh. I feel like the author is reaching at this point. Fingers crossed for some FMC development here 🤞🏼
