sometimes characters speak spanish (in the original version of this book) when they’re trying to be sneaky but in this one everyone is speaking spanish so it loses some of its zest when 2 politicians are speaking spanish “so no one will understand them” in a room full of spanish speakers

similarly alex wonders at one point if Henry, the prince of england, speaks English

Really glad to be reading another book in spanish- I’ve really been slacking this year and this feels like the perfect book to pull me back in, being one of my all time favs
