John is this good? I've been thinking I should read this.


Karen Good God, No! I mean given what you research you may find it worthwhile to pick through for citations, so maybe you should give it a once over lightly. Fair warning that it is hardcore social history and I am bored out of my gourd.

If I had to sum up the argument at this point it would be that: when the economy of a town is good and the middle class and poor aren't overly frustrated, no one rebels or sees the need to go overboard on religious ferment (Great Awakening). Shocking!!! :-p
