Not loving this third book so far; it's bullied kids in a high school, in a dystopian alternate 1980s where there's still government-mandated witchburning. Each book is a different setting, held together, apparently, by the character of Chrestomanci (who is yet to appear in this one, though it took a while in Book 2 as well).
