Peterson is pointing to a return of the understanding of alchemy just as Carl Jung, the science of the microcosm. That is, of individual being inasmuch as it is a reflexion of Total Being. And I believe no one has synthesized a Christian alchemy as powerfully as Jakob Böhme. One has to keep in mind however that the science of the microcosm as such is only cosmological and psychological, it does not go beyond this.
