Also, if the only purpose of promoting nambla-style stuff would have been to make the category normalized and so to make the society ignorant to the wider, "situational" predation, it would contradict earlier claims in this book which indicated that the propaganda was so that elite-aspirants would believe "it's ok".

The first part of the book largely centres around arguing, ostensibly(as per the title), that the fabian-progressivism has engineered what he calls an abuse culture. But presumably child abuse existed before that(see: deSade) . He also blames the rhetoric of normalization of child sex among the countercultural utopians, but then goes on to say most of the offending is situational ie. not based on actual pedophilia.
