super excited about this one. it was recommended to me YEARS ago, by a friend i knew briefly at summer camp. after it was recommended, i began seeing it all around social media as people besides my mystery-loving friend discovered it. then, a new friend, someone unrelated to the previous person, lended me this book and said "please read it, it's one of my favorites."

so here i am. i hope it's as good as they say.
