Everyone who know me says I'll never finish this book. I'll show them and my next book too. Chapter 17 The Return of the Myths: 1977-. My edition has less pages then 784. I've got all of chapters 17, 18 and 19. Then there is the glossary, acknowledgements and index.

I'm 3 books behind on my 2024 reading challenge. I also need to believe it or not start thinking about what my next book will be. I'm about to start Chapter 15 Hollywood Renaissance 1964-1976. Just finished Chapter 14 National Cinemas 1: 1945-. It was about Hong Kong, Taiwan, China etc.

Finished Ch 10: France between the wars, Ch 11: The American Studio Years: 1930-1945, Ch 12: Hollywood in transition: 1946-1965, and Ch 13: Neorealism, the new wave and what followed.

Now up to Ch 14: National Cinemas 1: 1945-
