Im seeing lots of criticism about flat characters and mediocre fantasy writing.

As it stands: Its very beefy, but i genuinely enjoy the hesitation in robin’s character, and babel is a sound critique of the colonial empire in a way that is nonfictional and still entertaining.

Also only at the halfway point yet and theres still no relief for romantic tension between ramy and robin
