Finally getting a chance to read a hard copy of a book rather than listen in the car. O'Brian is the most underrated author in the Western Canon.

Much better listening to Patrick Tull read these to me while I drive, but I'm trying to read this one the old-fashioned way. Slow going. Thought I would gain something, perhaps, from having the text in front of me. Nope. Should listen to the audio book of them all. But must always find the Tull version.
