Ok, so it was like wayyyy better than I expected. My one complaint is that at a certain point there was no more killing and then basically the entire rest of the book was just smut, so I was skimming it to get to more interesting slashy bits and there was only like one more. I will say the proposal was rly rly cute if a little deranged. Also wtf they didn’t ever kill the forest phantom but wtv it’s fine I guess
