the dedication of this book had me disappointed in an author i admire. being so far into it now, i find myself MORE disappointed, this isn't like haunting adeline, it follows katee's pattern of bdsm & kink couples with proper consent & internal dialogue that shows even dubcon situations are based on mutual respect. this book is a middle finger to haunting adeline, a literal definition of romanticized sexual assault.
