(book club) I am not a fan of tartt! her style is irritating to me in many ways, she bogs down plot progression with clichéd metaphors and inconsistent character behavior, and she uses big vocab words in the same way that taylor swift does (like she’s trying to earn scrabble points— good words put to poor and sometimes inappropriate use).
I will finish it, but I will be glad to read something else afterward.
