I want to like this series more than I do. The characters and the narrator save it for me, but the first two frustrate me. I have yet to read the third, where I hope, something happens.

Not a ton happens, admittedly, but when it does, it’s thrilling. Great characters, for sure—especially Glokta and Logen.
Ah, I didn't know this was a re-read for you. The ending of book two, combined with its length, really frustrated me.
It’s not a reread; this is my first time with the series. I figured I’d put it off long enough.
