I’m liking this after having watched the new Dune movie. What I love about Dune is how it shows the many moving parts and structures that make colonialism possible. I see a similar feeljng towards empire/ missionaries when Stephen talks about serving two masters, England and the Catholic Church, and calls all of the world’s pope-blessed monarchs “heresiarchs.”
Loving it and hoping not to find another Paul.
