Wrapping up Part I and am smitten with this. After trying both, I have to say I prefer the Ormsby translation to Grossman's, although I appreciate the footnotes in this edition. "The Knight of the Rueful Countenance" > "The Knight of the Sorrowful Face". In general I prefer the language in Ormsby's.

Oh yeah, it's as fun as anything you could read - very lovable and funny. Even if you already know the bit about the windmills and what the ending is (as I did, thanks to junior high Spanish class), there's so much more here.
Is it still fun? I mean even though one generally know what is happening before reading?
