we need the greatness of the gospel… “without the vision for and reality of the holiness of God, the history becomes trivialized, life loses its depth, God becomes transformed into a product to be sold, faith into a recreational activity to be done, and the Church into a club for the like-minded.”

Today I looked at 2 Cor 4 (my current theme song).
Some quick notes for myself
- in seeing God’s glory we will become like Jesus, who is God’s character made visible.
- focus your eyes on what God will do
- our hope determines our habits? Is my hope wrapped up in the kingdom?
- the kingdom is about endurance with praise, not the avoidance of pain
