Felt like the fox should've done more. With things escalating as quickly as they did, it came across as less foreshadowing, more non-sequitur.

See here, folks, this here is a proper bard! Warrior, druid, woodsman, rhymist, diplomat, one to be revered and feared and never crossed. D&D went completely down the wrong road with the superficial weak-ass minstrels.
Pretty good prose, too. I believe I will enjoy this one.
