I read this book when I was young. Now that I am reading it again with my daughter, I can't help but ask myself why the hell I liked this book so much...
The women characters are inexistent, mothers or love interests, and have no agency.
The men and the boys are walking clichés.
The sentences are so long that I am out of breath before reaching the middle of a sentence, and over-complicated...

Re-reading with my daughter.
Very fond memories from when I read it years and years ago...
