Apt pupil
This story was one of the most disturbing ones I have ever read. The concept of this is quite creative and makes you wonder how on earth someone could have thought of this. This novella is very thought provoking and I had to think about this for few minutes after finishing. I would not recommend this as a first King read, but overall I think King-readers should not skip this one. 4.5 stars.

Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption
This first novella of this collection was a great opener. I've watched the movie a few years ago, thus knew some bits and pieces but that didn't take away from the book. Andy Dufresne's character is written out so well and like always, King makes it seem like I know all these characters personally. Even the least important characters have a backstory. 5 stars.
