The chapter opens with Krishnachandra being regretful for being honest. It intrigued me from the start of the chapter. By the end, I had the answer to this situation. I also loved how the chapter touches upon several societal problems, like dowry and bribery/corruption in the first chapter itself in a subtle and not-so-subtle manner. Waiting to read the next chapter.
