What do you think of the book so far? I love a good vampire tale

Oh I absolutely LOVED this book...but it is not for the faint of heart. This is a bloody romp where our characters do despicable things (some things that might not be easy for some readers to take-there is violence, and it goes into religion and things of that nature) but you learn why, it is so well told. Think of Witcher meets Interview with a Vampire...that is the best way I've seen it loosely described. It is dark, delicious and all consuming. the writing is so visual its incredible...and I feel like I am traveling through the world with these characters, smelling scents, feeling ash falling on my shoulders, the sting of winter. I read this slowly, because I was enjoying being absorbed in the world and was savoring it like a delicious meal at a fine French restaurant. Good things shouldn't be rushed after all 😊
