The book is starting to lull a bit … but it’s literally insane that it took 475 pages to slow down. I’d imagine it will pick up again soon when Anna returns to Russia. Right now she’s frolicking about with Vronsky in Italy watching him paint.

Dolly goes to visit Anna and notices Anna regularly narrowing her eyes. I am just now realizing how important eyes are in this book. I need to talk to somebody about this.
