Jumping into a middle of the series was a little bit overwhelming between the many characters, complicated family dynamics and other plot lines that have seemingly started in other books. Then there was the fact that the missing Everett and the plot line with the death of Jana congealed together as the ghost tiger and girl set about on both. Little confusing, however I am liking it with the ghost angle and mystery.
