Elizabeth, this is my favorite David Brooks book so far. He takes a lot of books I love and synthesizes the principles in a lovely way toward the end of promoting relationship as essential to growing in character. I love that. The more we learn about neurology, the more I believe we need one another to see the world and ourselves more truly. I love the way he addresses that in this book.
